The walk to Horseshoe Point begins here - at the Department of Conservation's Rakiura National Park Visitor Centre in Oban.

We walk down to the waterfront and turn left. Then we follow the road along past the wharf and up that small hill where the road turns to the left.

Now we follow that narrow less well-defined track on the right to the beach at Horseshoe Bay.

Now the track turns into a gravel road.
